SUPERCUBE 1000+
Our fully-automated self-contained benchtop supercritical CO2 system. The ultimate solution to your extraction and drying process needs.
Extraction
The extraction from hemp of high value CBD, THC, terpenes and other herbal extracts can be accomplished with the Supercube 1000 starter unit from Accudyne Europe Limited
Light essential oils and heavier lipid products are also routinely collected using this equipment by the user simply adjusting the process controls and instrumentation on the unit.
Advantages of CO2 “solvent” over the more conventional ethanol and butane solvent methods:
- The equipment can be user – set to target specific extracts (With ethanol extraction the solvent dissolves everything in the hemp in one go, which then must be further separated)
- The resultant extract is therefore of higher purity
The CO2 “solvent is far less expensive and can be 100% recycled - The equipment runs completely automatically once set
Ethanol is highly flammable and so fire-suppressing infrastructure costs are eliminated - The process can be readily expanded into volume production scales using Accudyne’s 25 years’ experience in the market and can be further extended to include a level of automation as specified by the customer
Product Users: Multiple Hemp Processors supplying into the CBD global market.
Critical Point Drying (CPD)
The manufacture of Aerogels is a common use for the same processing technology using Supercritical CO2 processing equipment
Aerogels are a super-lightweight material commonly used in aerospace insulation applications as well as by customers who demand a high quality particle collection application
The Supercube 1000 can be user-set to specifically tailor the process to the customer requirement
The process can be readily expanded into volume production scales using Accudyne’s 25 years’ experience in the market and can be further extended to include a level of automation as specified by the customer
Product Users: Multiple Aerospace Companies (including NASA)
Pharmaceutical Processing
Rapid Expansion of Supercritical Solution (RESS) processes are commonly used in pharmaceutical processes for the collection of nano-particle precipitates and the manufacture of drugs in crystalline form
Additionally this equipment can be set to separate out mixtures of chemicals – this is often used for isolating compounds in pharmaceutical research
The process can be readily expanded into volume production scales using Accudyne’s 25 years’ experience in the market and can be further extended to include a level of automation as specified by the customer
Product Users: Multiple Pharmaceutical Companies
Super Cleaning
The Supercube 1000 is versatile enough to be used as a super cleaning machine – This is just using the CO2 as a cleaning solvent that doesn’t leave any residue and does not require high temperatures.
The process can be readily expanded into volume production scales using Accudyne’s 25 years’ experience in the market and can be further extended to include a level of automation as specified by the customer
Product Users: Ideally suited to those industries which demand very high levels of component cleanliness not untypical of the superconductor and electronics industry

The SuperCube 1000+ is fully compliant with the following directives:
- CE Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- CE EMC Directive 2014/30/EU
- UKCA Mark
- UL 61010-1
We recognise that the standard specification may not suit everyone. We are therefore pleased to offer several options for this machine:
- High Pressure Option – Upgrade your SuperCube 1000+ to allow a maximum operating pressure of 7,500 Psi / 500 bar
- SuperCube Recycler – The recycler option allows you to turn the SuperCube into a closed-loop CO2 system and prevent waste CO2 entering the atmosphere. This will drastically reduce your ongoing operating costs of the equipment. Please see here for further information.
- Up-flow / Down-flow Selector – As standard, the CO2 will flow through the vessel from the top down. It’s no problem if you would like the option for it to flow from the bottom up – we can provide a manual selector valve to allow you to easily switch between.
- Co-solvent Pump – Allow us to provide your pumping needs for your co-solvent input
- Air Compressor – Not everyone has compressed air available, we can provide an air compressor perfectly matched to the SuperCube requirements
