SuperCube 1000+ for Critical Point Drying
Manufacturing Aerogels can be accomplished.
Advantages:
The advantages of the SuperCube using CO2 “solvent” over the more conventional ethanol and butane solvent methods:
- Fully automatic
- The CO2 “solvent” is far less expensive and can be 100% recycled.
- No hazardous residue
- Not highly flammable like ethanol
- The process and level of automation can be expanded for volume production scales.

Certifications
The SuperCube 1000+ is fully compliant with the following directives:
- CE Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- CE EMC Directive 2014/30/EU
- UKCA Mark
- UL 61010-1
Options
We recognize that the standard specification may not suit everyone; therefore, we offer several options for this machine:
- Medium Pressure Option – Upgrade your SuperCube 1000+ to allow a maximum operating pressure of 6000 psi / 400 bar
- High Pressure Option – Upgrade your SuperCube 1000+ to allow a maximum operating pressure of 7,500 psi / 500 bar
- SuperCube Recycler – The recycler option allows you to turn the SuperCube into a closed-loop CO2 system and prevent waste CO2 entering the atmosphere. This will drastically reduce your ongoing operating costs of the equipment.
- Up-flow / Down-flow Selector – As standard, the CO2 will flow through the vessel from the top down. If you would like the option for it to flow from the bottom up, we can provide a manual selector valve to allow you to easily switch between.
- Co-solvent Pump – For your co-solvent input
- Air Compressor – We can provide an air compressor matched to the SuperCube’s requirements.
